Artifex & Culture Design, founded by Alexander Rewi David, is an architecture and interior design firm dedicated to creating exquisite spaces that seamlessly blend elegance with comfort and sophistication with warmth. With over three decades of experience spanning New Zealand, Australia, and now the United States, Alex brings a refined eye for aesthetics and an intuitive grasp of how to use color, form, and pattern to shape cohesive, captivating designs. He believes that a home, like a tailored wardrobe or a thoughtfully designed structure, should inspire joy and help people feel their best. His aim is to craft a uniquely personalized atmosphere for every client.

Alex earned his skills at BCI New Zealand and Civil Contractors New Zealand Inc., two of the nation’s premier high-end construction firms, after completing both a BSc and MSc in Architecture from The University of Auckland. He furthered his studies at The Interior Design Institute in New Zealand. In 2003, he established Artifex & Culture Design, building an impressive portfolio that includes high-profile projects such as large corporate and commercial buildings, modern city apartments, and luxury estates in Wellington.
